Submission Guidelines

Submit your story in at least one of the following formats:
  • written article/story
  • multimedia presentation
  • video
  • audio

Scholarship Categories: K-8, 9-12, college/university      Deadline: November 1, 2007


Submission categories include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Projects - Have you implemented an innovative project that has altered you or your students' perspective/learning?
  • Teaching - Have you experienced a memorable "teaching moment" that has affected your view of the profession?
  • Collaboration - How has collaborating with colleagues and your school community influenced you as a teacher?  How has it impacted your students' learning?
  • Student Voice - What is an example of how promoting student voice has affected your classroom or school community?
  • Community - What is an example of how your class or school community came together to persevere through a challenging situation or achieve a school or community goal?

Again, please do not limit yourself to these categoriesperhaps you have another meaningful educational story to share that is not captured in the above parameters.

PNN will select one winning entry from each category.  Winners will receive a PNN media kit for their classsrooms as well as a detailed tutorial/consulting session with the educational team to help you use PNN tools and integrate PNN into your classroom in ways that are most useful for you and your students.  PNN will also feature your story.
